Do you know what comes easily to you? Do you trust it?
Or, do you insist on making things hard for yourself, choosing the path of greater resistance?
When You Disbelieve Ease
In the West, we live in societies that value the grind. If somebody is good at something naturally, we become suspicious - or envious.
It can feel like they’re cheating. Like something isn’t right.
Maybe, you feel that, too, about the things you’re innately good at. If it comes easily, surely something must be wrong with it. Hi, impostor syndrome.
All that is unfortunate. It leads us to undermining our natural talents and what has the potential to give us the greatest joy.
“Oh, that thing…”
It’s never just that. “That thing” can be the key to your greatest fulfilment.
Often, we also overlook what we’re good at, because it comes to us so naturally. It’s second nature, like breathing.
Discover Your Talents in Your Human Design Chart
A look at your Human Design chart helps you understand your innate talents better.
In Human Design, the second line is the natural. It is where things are second nature to you. You’re also recognized for these things by others. To you, they are innate, so often you may overlook them.
You can find this in:
A 2-line in your profile
If you have it in your profile (for example as a 6/2 or 2/4), being a natural at things is part of your nature. You just know how to do some things, without needing to practice or investigate them.
A 2-line in your individual gates
When you look deeper into the chart, you’ll see numbers next to the gates. Look for the 2s here. In the screenshot below, you have a 2-line next to gate 33 and 22.

In this chart, it would mean:
Gate 22 is the Gate of Openness (sometimes also called grace). You may be recognized for your innate sense of style, your creative abilities, and your skills at making things beautiful.
Gate 33 is the Gate of Privacy. It’s here to make sense of past experiences. With a 2-line in this gate, you can be a natural at storytelling, for example.

Have a lovely day,
Johanna
