Readings for Undefined & Open Egos

Let go of feeling not good enough

60% of people have an undefined (white in the chart with defined gates) or open (white & no gates) ego.

That means that almost 2/3 of humanity have no constant sense of security in the material world. They have no innate sense of self-worth.

The undefined/open ego is an absolute trip. Together with an open solar plexus, it’s the most powerful force of not-self according to Ra.

It will f*** you up and push you in directions that are terrible for your health and well-being, *just* so other people will like you and you can stop feeling like s***.

The undefined ego can show up as:

  • feeling not good enough,

  • feeling like you constantly need to prove yourself to justify your existence

  • telling little or big lies to gain validation (exaggerating in storytelling, f.e.)

  • looking for validation everywhere constantly or subconsciously

  • moving through life with a sense of falling short all the time

  • an obsession with personal development

  • forcing yourself into routines and discipline, but never being able to stick with them

  • wanting to show them

The undefined/open ego is a force to be reckoned with.

Unfortunately. It’s the greatest distraction on our path to ourselves.

Disentangling the ego is complex

It’s easy to talk about taming the ego in spirituality. When you look at it on a Human Design level, it’s a complex story.

It’s not just the cliché of the person buying a brand name car for social status (= self-worth). The undefined/open ego often works much more subtly. It has a way of hiding its motivations and seeping into our actions despite our best intentions.

This ego will put you on a chain and lead you far, far away from where you’re intending to go - all in the name of maybe feeling a little better about yourself.

It’s a ruse, obviously.

Though detecting it in the moment and moving past are two different stories.

How Human Design can help with feeling worthless and your undefined/open ego

Fortunately, Human Design has deep and effective information on how to manage your undefined/open ego - especially the mental chatter around it.

That’s why I’ve decided to offer readings that focus on the undefined/open ego and its effects in your life.

If your ego can lead you astray and keep you from being on your path, there’s great value in finding out about how and what to do about it.

You can’t motivate and discipline yourself out of any of the undefined/open ego themes. That’s a losing game that will make you feel worse, not better about yourself (failed again, quit working out again, etc.).

What helps is profound awareness around how these themes show up in your life and the stories your mind will tell you around them.

In these readings we will:

  • Look at how your undefined/open ego works in particular

  • Dive deep on how your ego interacts with your other open centers

  • Identify your mind’s stories around your value and worthiness

  • Develop tools to help you stop your ego from interfering with your life

If you feel not good enough a lot of the times, this can help you reach a greater sense of acceptance for yourself.

Why do a reading just for the ego?

I have a completely open ego on top of seven open centers in total. As you may imagine, that’s given me many lessons (not that I wanted any of them…).

As I began to study the effect of the ego deeper in Ra’s materials, I began to see in my own life and that of the people around me just how much this is a factor.

What do you do because you genuinely want to? What do you do for validation? The answers are often surprisingly complex.

The undefined/open ego often is at the root of our manifold non-self actions. The better you understand how that works, the greater of a chance do you have to catch the destructive behavior and move toward self-love.

It’s that simple.

It’s not always easy and a real process as I can attest to.

Knowing this stuff, however, will give you a really powerful tool for your experiment and the path to moving toward living your design and your potential.

How to book a session for the undefined/open ego

If your authority says yes, you can book a reading & coaching session on the undefined/open ego here.

Please note that this session is a better fit for somebody who is already familiar with their chart. If you’re new to Human Design, it’s more supportive for you to have an introductory reading or self-study more before diving deeper into this material.

Strategy and authority and understanding the basics of your type come before diving deeper from my perspective.

If you are a bit further along the way, a reading for the undefined/open ego will be very impactful for you.
